Get Tavala Plus

You buy Tavala Plus inside the app, on an account, from the plan card in Settings or from the sheet that opens when you reach a free-plan limit. iPhone, iPad and Mac pay through the App Store, Android through Google Play, and the browser through Stripe. One purchase unlocks Plus on every device you sign in on.

Buy Plus

1. Sign in to your account. Plus is bought on an account, not on a guest install. If you are a guest, the Plus sheet offers Create a free account and your data comes with you. See create an account.
2. Open Settings. On a phone, tap the round person icon at the top right. On an iPad or a Mac, tap or click Settings at the foot of the rail or the sidebar.
3. On the card titled Free plan, tap Get Plus. The card sits under Sign-in & security and Devices.
4. In the Tavala Plus sheet, tap the yearly button, which reads "Get Plus" with your price and "a year". To pay monthly, tap the button under it, which reads "Or" with your price and "a month". The prices are your store's own for your country.
5. Confirm the purchase:
   • In the apps, the App Store or Google Play sheet opens. Confirm it with Face ID, your fingerprint, your passcode or your store password, as you do for any purchase.
   • In a browser, Stripe Checkout opens in the same tab. Enter your card there. Stripe sends you back to Tavala when you are done.
6. Wait for the confirmation. Tavala opens Welcome to Tavala Plus, with what is now open; tap any of it to go straight there, or Start using Plus to carry on where you were. If it says "Payment received" first, Plus switches on by itself within a minute. The plan card now reads Tavala Plus, with where it is billed and when it renews.

Where each device pays

The Mac uses the same App Store purchase as iPhone and iPad. The web prices are on tavala.io/pricing and in free and Plus compared.

Good to know

• Yearly leads, monthly is under it. If the monthly button is missing, the store does not sell a monthly plan in your country.
• Plus follows your account. Buy once, in any app or in the browser, and every device you sign in on shows Plus. You do not need to buy again on a second device.
• Pay in one place. If you subscribe in two places, the plan card warns "You pay for Plus in two places. Cancel one where it is billed." See cancel Tavala Plus.
• Plus turns on after payment. After a store purchase Tavala asks its server for your plan. If that takes a moment you see "Payment received. Plus turns on in a moment." It can take up to a minute. If the card still says Free plan after that, see restore a purchase.
• Cancelling a purchase is silent. If you close the store sheet, nothing is charged and nothing changes. If you leave Stripe's page with Back, Tavala says "Checkout canceled. Nothing was charged."
• If the purchase fails, the sheet shows why under the buttons, for example "The purchase did not go through." or "Plus isn't on sale in your store yet." Try again in a few minutes.
• No trial and no discount codes. The free plan is the trial.
