Pricing questions
- Is there a free trial?
- No. The free plan is the trial: use it for as long as you like, and move to Tavala Plus when you hit a limit that matters to you.
- Where do I buy Plus?
- Inside Tavala, from Settings, once you have a free account. On iPhone, iPad and Mac the App Store takes the payment, on Android Google Play, and in your browser a card. One subscription then works on every device you sign in to.
- Does my household pay once or per person?
- One Plus subscription covers every space you own and everyone you invite into them. A partner who owns spaces of their own and wants them past the free limits needs their own Plus.
- Can I pay once instead of subscribing?
- The Group pass is the one purchase that is not a subscription: $4.99 once opens one space to six people for sixty days, and the space stays readable afterwards. Plus itself is yearly or monthly.
- Is Ask Tavala included?
- On both plans. A free account gets one question a day, and Tavala Plus answers up to 150 a month, counting each question once. It is never sold separately, and a guest is offered a free account first because Ask Tavala answers through Tavala's servers.
- When is the bank connection add-on charged?
- Only after a bank has actually connected, per bank. If the connection does not go through, nothing is charged. Connections end when Plus ends.
- What happens when Plus ends?
- Your account returns to the free limits. Nothing is deleted or hidden: anything over a limit becomes read-only until you subscribe again, and you get a notice seven days before the plan ends.
- How do I cancel?
- A subscription bought on the App Store or Google Play is managed in your store account. One bought in your browser is managed from Settings in Tavala.
