Currencies and rates
Your main currency, spending in any other, and which exchange rate Tavala keeps for each entry.
- Choose or change your main currencyYour main currency is the one Tavala adds everything up in. Change it in Settings if you own the space; past entries are re-valued at their own dates.
- Record spending in another currencyType the amount with its currency, like taxi 1200 MKD. Tavala converts it into the wallet's currency and your main currency, and keeps both amounts.
- How Tavala converts currencies and which rate it keepsEntries keep the rate of the day you saved them. Balances and net worth use today's rate. See where rates come from and what Estimated means.
- Use your own exchange rate for one entryIn the full form, tap the pencil on the conversion card and type the rate you actually got. It applies to that one entry and changes nothing else.
- Supported currencies and cryptocurrenciesTavala offers 155 regular currencies and 96 cryptocurrencies. See where each can be used, how many decimals they show and the full list by code.
