Turn Ask Tavala on or off and see its log
Settings › Device › Ask Tavala has the switch that turns it off on every device, this month's questions, and one line per question for 90 days.
On this page
Ask Tavala stays on until you turn it off, and turning it off on one device stops it on all of them. The same page lists what was asked, one line per question, without the words.
Turn it off or on
- Open SettingsDeviceAsk Tavala.
- Switch Ask Tavala in the cloud off. The line under it says "Off. Nothing is sent."
- To turn it on again, switch it back on and read the consent screen. If your device can check it is you, it asks for your face, fingerprint or passcode.
See what was asked
The Activity list on the same page has one line per question for the last 90 days: the tool Ask Tavala used, then the time, the space, how many rows it read and who answered. It never shows the question or the answer, because Tavala does not keep them. The list needs a connection.
The line under the switch says how many questions you have used this month, or whether today's free question is still yours.
Good to know
- Turning it off stops the next question on every device. Each device asks again before it sends anything.
- The log stays for its 90 days after you turn Ask Tavala off. Deleting your account deletes it at once.
- Your data export includes the log. See export your data.
