The calculators
Six offline calculators on the Plan tab for growth rate, loan payment, compound growth, FIRE number, savings goal and emergency fund.
The Plan tab has six calculators for quick what-ifs. Open PlanCalculators. They are scratchpads: the figures you type are not saved and do not change your wallets, debts or goals. They work offline, have no limit on the free plan, and show money in your main currency.
Each result reads "-" until the inputs make sense. You can type a decimal point or a decimal comma.

How each one works
Growth rate (CAGR)
It finds the yearly rate that takes the starting value to the ending value, with compounding. A start of 10,000 and an end of 15,000 over 5 years gives about 8.45% a year, not 10%. The starting value and the years must be above 0.
Loan payment
It gives the level monthly payment that clears the loan over the term, using the standard loan formula with the rate divided by 12. At 0% the loan is split evenly. The term is in months. The pills 1 yr, 2 yrs, 3 yrs, 5 yrs and 10 yrs fill the Term (months) field with 12, 24, 36, 60 or 120. A €10,000 loan at 6% over 60 months gives a monthly payment of about €193.33, and the line under it reads "Total interest" with the amount, about €1,600, "over 60 months".
If you track exactly one debt in your main currency, the loan amount and the rate start as that debt's amount owed and APR. You can change both. For a plan across all your debts, use the payoff planner.
Compound growth
The lump sum grows with monthly compounding. Monthly contributions are added at the end of each month. The line under the result gives what you paid in and the growth, in the form "€6,000.00 in · €1,240.00 growth". The pills 1 yr to 10 yrs fill Years.
FIRE number
It divides your annual spending by the withdrawal rate. At 4% the result is 25 times your annual spending; at 3.5% it is about 28.6 times; at 3% about 33.3 times. The result label shows the multiple, for example "Target portfolio (25× annual spending)". The starting rate is 4%.
Savings goal
It counts the whole months until your savings reach the goal. With no annual return it divides the gap by your monthly contribution. With a return, interest is added to the balance each month before the contribution. The answer is "Already there" if you have already reached the goal, "Never at this rate" if the contribution and return can never get you there, or a count such as "14 months · 1 yr 2 mo".
If you track exactly one savings goal in your main currency, the goal amount and the saved amount start from it. You can change them. To track a real goal, see save toward a goal.
Emergency fund
It multiplies your monthly essential spending by the number of months you pick. The starting choice is 6 months.
Good to know
- Nothing here is advice. The calculators do the arithmetic you give them. They do not know your taxes, fees or how markets move.
- One currency. There is no currency conversion inside a calculator.
- Not included. There is no mortgage calculator with a payment table and no currency converter on this screen. For a month-by-month table on a loan you track, open Payment schedule from the debt's ⋯ menu. See track a loan or a credit line.
